    I give this place one star and thats reaching ! My fried pickles were the only thing good. I remember this place to have delightful food , so I wanted to bring my non Cajun husband to try it. First off the salad bar was light and didn't have much . I ordered a gumbo with the salad bar. I fixed my salad and the cucumbers and tomatoes were bitter but I push through and ate it . My gumbo smelled horrible I couldn't bring myself to eat it . My husband ordered the roast beef sandwich with gravy , said he couldn't swallow it because it tasted like nothing. The most bland food ever. Our server seemed bothered by us!

    Stopped to buy our grandbaby a souvenir frog from Frog City.....no frogs!!! What?? A couple of ceramic plant holders but no stuffed frogs, no rubber frogs, no kitschy frog knick knacks!! Where are the frogs?!! No frog leg souffle, no frog balls, no frog soup. Nice place to stop unless you're looking for frog paraphernalia. Edit: to be fair we didnt go into the restaurant, only the truck stop side. Even though we weren't impressed with the shopping options I am intending for this to be a light hearted post. Restrooms were nice, staff was pleasant, parking was sufficient.

    Love this place, stop here every few days sometimes up to a week. Plenty of parking, never has am issue with a tone bothering me at night, food is as close as to home cooked as your going to get and the waitresses in the restaurant are great. Never had an issue with anyone there in store side either. Fuel pumps are a little on the older side as well as the restrooms but they are always clean as well as the fueling around.

    I’m a trucker from Tennessee. I always make it a point to stop here and take my break when I’m in this part of the country. There is plenty here to keep you occupied for a weekend. A good restaurant, laundry facility, showers, a bar, a casino, and the gas station part has good food too on top of selling everything a trucker might need. I will continue patronizing this place as long as I drive a truck. ✌️

    Just can't say anything good about the non-seasoned, disgusting hamburger steak. Taste was like a McDonald's burger....NOT GOOD.
